After being on the Vivero team for two years now, my advice for new fellows would be to go beyond what the written trainings show about a particular program if it interests them. The training schedule is structured so that the trainings themselves are fairly surface level, enough for baseline understanding, but there are a variety of tools a program can offer that most people never learn about. If there is enough time and interest, someone can learn something really interesting and new that could help other students with specific problems.
