During my time at Vivero, I think the main skill I developed, and my favorite thing to learn, was website development. Even though I only worked on the TDPS website itself for about a year, I was still involved in the process of planning the site itself. The time to plan helped immensely with finding the right hosting website and actually developing the website later on, which contributed to practicing skills to be a well-rounded developer. However, and tangentially related, my biggest weakness has been time management, particularly in leaving an appropriate amount of time to work on project duties.
I would like to work on managing my time better, both in context of my project and for general professional development. This does start by actually planning out how I can best utilize my time, as well as sticking to this schedule as best as I can. My project goals are a lot clearer now that there’s a tangible website to work on, so I can at least have some idea of how long certain tasks will take to complete.
